Compress image size to 100KB (or under 100KB) for email and forms, one file or a whole batch. Clear Met / Above target status from real bytes, and your images never leave your browser. Need JPEG-only output? Use Compress JPEG to 100KB.

Target size: 100 KB
Soft ceiling — we keep quality as high as possible while staying at or under 100KB when possible. Results show Met target or Above target from the real file size.
Output format
PNG input is currently exported as WebP by this compressor so quality controls can shrink the file—not PNG-preserving. Need JPEG instead? PNG to JPG, then compress.

Guide
How it works & what to know
This page accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP and compresses image size to 100KB or under 100KB when possible, typical for email attachments, HR profile photos, and many web forms. Output follows the compressor’s format rules (PNG input becomes WebP here).
If a portal requires a JPEG/JPG file under 100KB, use Compress JPEG to 100KB instead. That page always exports JPEG and flattens transparent PNGs onto white. Both tools show Met target or Above target from real output bytes—neither guarantees an exact size.
Met target means the downloaded file is 100KB or smaller. Above target means the closest usable encode still exceeded 100KB after quality and dimension steps—download that closest file or try a tighter crop / the next larger limit page.
Never treat a soft ceiling as a guaranteed exact size. Portals that reject oversized uploads need the Met target badge before you submit.
If email or a form rejects a 100KB file, check whether it also enforces max dimensions; resize first, then compress again. Need forced JPEG output? Use Compress JPEG to 100KB.
Photos with large flat areas (skies, walls) compress more easily than busy textures. If you stay Above target, try the next larger target page or a lower-resolution source.

FAQ
Quick answers about privacy, formats, and what this tool can do.
No guarantee. This tool aims for 100KB or under by lowering quality and, when needed, dimensions. Results show Met target or Above target from the real output size—very detailed images may stay Above target with the closest size and a short note.
Smaller targets need stronger compression. Start with 100KB here; if quality looks too soft, try Compress Image to 200KB or resize dimensions first with the Image Resizer.
No. Images are processed on your device—no image files are uploaded to our servers.
JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Each file can be up to 25 MB, and you can process up to 20 images in one bulk run. PNG input is exported as WebP on multi-format target pages (not PNG-preserving).
If the file is already 100KB or smaller, we still run a light optimization so you get a consistent download—often without changing the look much. The result still shows Met target.
Yes when the encode fits. Met target means the file is 100KB or smaller. If email still rejects it, try Compress Image to 50KB or resize with the Image Resizer first.
Yes. JPEG/JPG, PNG, and WebP all work here. If you specifically need JPEG-only output at 100KB, use Compress JPEG to 100KB.
